Why I started a travel blog

Travel has been a long-time passion of mine but in July 2023 my husband and I finally made the dream of traveling the world full-time a reality. We’ve been on the road ever since.

The concept of this travel blog came from me often doing the planning on very short notice. Even now, when we travel full-time. Sometimes I research the details while en route or already at the destination.

Since we are all real people with real lives (picture-perfect Insta LifeStyles may have been lying to us) juggling travel planning on top of our daily lives can be tiring, stressful, and overwhelming. This often leaves little room for reading lengthy blogs where lots of valuable information is hopelessly buried under a ton of personal details. Don’t get me wrong, I looove reading well-written personal accounts of travel, but I often lack the bandwidth for that, and I just want the bullet points.

In an attempt to help other people like me plan enjoyable travel easier, I created “Bullet Point Travel”.

What I strive to provide here are condensed and actionable travel guides, that are easy to scan and navigate so that you can find what you are looking for more quickly. Drop me a line to let me know if I succeeded or not.
